Fees
All cases are worked on what is known as a contingent fee basis. This means that a percentage of the recovery becomes the attorney fee. This is deducted at the end of the case when the client is paid. This makes it affordable for the client to have representation without the burden of constantly incurring and paying additional fees, which is necessary in all other legal matters other than personal injury and workers’ compensation. Recently, some firms have started charging hourly rates in their personal injury cases, or an upfront retainer fee at the beginning of the case. We believe that this makes it too difficult for people to get proper representation on an affordable basis, especially during a difficult time of recovery from an injury and even during a possible disability from earnings period. Thus, we are proud that we still recognize this fact and charge only a risk-free contingent fee in our personal injury and workers’ compensation cases.
